WE'RE AN ARDENT BUNCH...
We strive to obtain as much support and recognition for Chester’s Film community as possible. We do this by engaging with a wide range of organisations including the Local Authority; other cultural & creative groups & entities within the city; the University; Local Collages & Schools & nationally with other organisations similar to Film Chester.
All this helps us to:
- Support the continued development of a vibrant and active Film community in Chester.
- Preserve Chester’s heritage through the medium of film.
- Support Chester’s profile as a place to make film.
Chester’s long & full history bares a rich & well documented culture & heritage. Juxtaposed to that is the City’s modern cultural identity – born of Chester’s University & healthy Contemporary Creative underground. A part of that underground is FILM… We want to surface it!
