Adam Bowler

Backstory

Adam started out studying Media Production at South Cheshire College and then later progressed to Staffordshire University to study Film Production Technology.  Having graduated from Stafford in 2007, Adam has spent the last decade working on a variety of projects ranging from Corporate Videos to Feature Film Productions and most things in between.

In the first few years following his studies Adam participated in the production of Money Kills, a micro-budget action movie made in the style of 80’s action classics like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon.  Adam worked as the additional cinematographer on this film as well as helping supervise the final stages of post production.

Adam is also an enthusiast Photographer having taken an interest during the early years of the video DSLR’s.  His body of work as a photographer includes Unit Stills, Weddings, Headshots for Actors / Performers along with hundreds of Travel Photographs.

Adam worked as a Broadcast Rental Technician at Visual Impact Northern for four years and has recently left this post to re-enter the mad world of Freelance Video Production.  His experience in Equipment hire has made him a go-to resource for advice on Filmmaking kit such as Cameras and Lenses.

He has since worked as a Camera Assistant and DIT with a number of Production Companies in the Northwest including Zut Media, Marry Me Films, Picturehouse Films and Chat Noir Productions.

These Days

Adam can often be found carrying equipment cases up lifts and staircases.  He probably spends most of his life watching loading bars crawl from left to right, it’s all about the rendering.
Oh well, good excuse to go and grab another coffee!
