Ryan Garry is a director based in Liverpool whose work has screened at BFI Southbank, FACT, and the Liverpool Small Cinema (amongst a number of other venues). These articles cover a couple of recent productions of his:

He’s very active in the local independent film scene, being instrumental in bringing the monthly Manchester film festival IndieFlicks to Liverpool and has been the city host and organiser since its first event there. After attending a course run by Creative England at FACT, he set up a couple more events in the same vein with guest speakers from the industry – both of which were sold out.

He was also involved with instituting a Kino Kabaret – a time-limited filmmaking challenge – in Liverpool, and is admin of the Liverpool Filmmakers Hangout Facebook group with over 1,000 members – regularly posting news, jobs and funding opportunities.

He’s currently working on his feature film, whilst continuing to do all that’s mentioned above!
