After taking drama classes as a teenager, Nathan originally studied ‘Graphic Design’ and ‘Production Design’ at Mid Cheshire College, with the intention to go onto a career in set design and prop making. He briefly worked with the Jim Henson Creatureshop during their UK tour in the 90’s, as well as working freelance as a graphic designer, before returning to the acting world in 2005.
Nathan later took acting lessons and attended various screen workshops in Manchester to help establish himself in the industry as a performer, with now over 25 feature film credits to his name, including the cult film Theatre of Fear, which reached 19 in the UK DVD charts, and hit Mockbuster Exorcist Chronicles which gained a substantial fan-base upon its release in North America on Time Warner Cable.
Although he is predominantly an actor by trade Nathan has also dabbled in film Production and photography, with a few feature films, experimental short films and mini-documentaries under his producing belt. He enjoys working with his DSLR Camera retrofitted with vintage lenses, his current personal favorite being the Takumar 135mm f/3.5 Preset, originally produced between 1957 & 1962.
He can mostly be found stuffing his face with cakes while watching underground independent horror films.
