Jodie Forshaw


Jodie studied Drama & Performing Arts for 2 years at West Cheshire College. From here she went on to The University of Chester to study Drama & Theatre Studies BA (Hons) for 3 years. While at Chester University, she worked with a radio station based in Winsford, Cheshire FM. Here she learned all about the radio industry, from sales to presenting. Following graduation, she went on to have a career at the station.

She ran her own show ‘Boogie Nights’ on a Friday and Saturday evening, while coordinating outside broadcasts, marketing and sales strategies. The company began working with a local college and started to organise student evening classes, where they would create short blogs for the website. They began filming news articles of the local community and businesses, here Jodie began to enjoy filming.

From here Jodie worked with a local Theatre company as a stage manager, also turning her hand to Props and Make-up. She wanted to become more involved in performing and went on to appear in short films, feature films & also acted in self help videos along with TV pilots.

These Days

Jodie continues to work within the marketing and sales industry, currently as a social media agent for a top tier retailer. In this role she is involved with instigating new systems within the business and is at present trialling a new Web Chat program. As if all this wasn’t enough, Jodie is also currently in preproduction for her own Web series!
